#WallowFire Report from blogmaster at Red Hill

At 3:30 NM, this is the first day the smoke hasn't been so thick that the very air itself was orange.  It is also the first time in a week or more that ash isn't falling from the sky.  To be sure it is smoky outside, but the sky is a uniform gray from horizon to horizon, rather than condensed in a mean trail that indicates forest burning hard.

Is it too soon to hope that this represents a possible positive turn of events for this fire?
