Note that at the time of this report last night, almost 7.2 million acres of wildfire are burning across Arizona and New Mexico.

Significant Events: Zone 1: Southern California Team One took over a significant portion of the western flank of the Wallow Fire and moved the Incident Command Post from Springerville/Eagar to Horseshoe Lake recreation area. Zone 2: Pincha-Tulley IMT1 arrived on incident and is shadowing today in preparation for transition tomorrow. Zone 3: Rapp IMT2 assumed command of Zone 3 at 0600. Road closures remain in effect in the Point of Pines area.Remarks: Zone 1: Continue to demobilize excess resources. Zone 1 now covers the area north-east of Nutrioso, west and south to the Black River. Zone 2: Transition from Pendleton's IMT1 to Pincha-Tulley IMT1 will occur at 0600, June 23, 2011. Zone 3: Rapp IMT2 assumed command at 0600, on June 22nd. Total acres of 529,825 are divided as follows: FS = 496,838, AZ State= 4,531, Private = 6,284, San Carlos Indian Reservation= 9,200, Fort Apache Indian Reservation = 12,972.
Observed Fire Behavior: Zone 1: Creeping and smoldering. Zone 2: Active fire behavior with frequent torching in the Blue River drainage. Zone 3: Backing and flanking fire. Isolated single tree torching with short-range spotting.
Planned Actions: Zone 1: Continue to mop up and secure firelines while continuing to provide for point protection as needed. Zone 2: Burn out along the 281 Road in the Blue River Drainage where fire is approaching. Contain escaped fire by keeping fire east of the 191 road by burning out and prepping and burning out line down Strayhorse drainage. Continue to strengthen and secure lines elsewhere. Zone 3: Continue mop up, patrol, and perform rehab work in all Divisions.

Significant Events: Southern California Team One took over a significat portion of the western flank of the fire and moved the ICP from Springerville/Eagar to Horseshoe Lake recreation area.Remarks: Incident will continue with the demobilization of excess resources that are timing out as well as supporting other incidents within the region. Lighter winds are allowing firefighters to make good progress with mop-up operations. Zone one will now cover the area just Northeast of Nutrioso, west and south to the Black River.
Observed Fire Behavior: Crews made good progress today, with the lighter winds crews were able to safety access areas of the fire they have not been able to access due to high winds and large snag patches. Other crews continued with the rehabilitation work and roadside falling of hazard trees.
Planned Actions: Crews will continue to mop up and securing firelines while continuing to provide for point source protection as needed.

Observed Fire Behavior: Active fire behavior with backing and glancing in the Blue River with frequent torching.
Planned Actions: Structure protection in Alpine, Luna and Blue River, continue to strengthen and secure lines, burnout prepared lines. Patrol for and extinguish spots fires. Burnout lines along the 281 Road in the Blue River Drainage where fire is approaching.

Significant Events: Rapp IMT took command of Zone 3 as of 0600 this morning. Road closure remain in effect in the Point of Pines area. Resources continue to mop-up, patrol and rehab containments lines in Divisions A, Y, and Z. Resources continue to agressively mop-up in Divisions KK and MM.Remarks:
