- While Greer still has a full compliment of fire crews, a portion of the night-time crews will be relocated and those that remain will be on more of a patrolling duty. The bulk of the work will be done during the day shifts.
- The crews are finishing burn-out and mop-up operations around the communities and they feel good about the safety of the communities at this point.
- The Incident Team is now planning their suppression rehabilitation. Basically this is the rehab work they are required to do for damage they caused while fighting the fires. Such thinks as repairing fences they cut, knocking down defensive burm’s, etc.
- Because there is such a shift in the operations to hazard removal and mitigation around the communities and in the various zones of the fire, there is a large amount of movement and changing of crews. These changes involve type of crews, numbers, duties, etc.

- The incident command has ordered in 6 ea. – Type II teams to continue the hazard mitigation, rehabilitation, etc. in and around the communities.
