WNM Communications would like to remind all of our customers affected by the power outages, that while the Company spends thousands of dollars a year for back up batteries at all of our sites, all of these efforts to ensure that there is no disruption in service can be negated if customers only have phones that need to be plugged into power to operate. (i.e.: Cordless phones) WNM Communications would like to highly encourage our customers to plug in a corded phone, {a bit old fashioned perhaps but very reliable!} so that they get the maximum benefits of the companies investments.
Also, WNM Communications would like to let all of our customers who are forced to evacuate know that the company will put Call Forwarding on your line at no charge. If you have already evacuated, we can also remotely activate the call forwarding to the number of your choosing. If you forward your line to a number outside of the exchange (575-XXX) you live in, normal long distance charges will apply.
From all of us at WNMC to every one involved in the fire fighting effort, from the people on the front lines to the people behind the scenes, we would like to extend our most sincere Thank You!
