The Mountaineers 4H Club of Reserve is collecting non-perishables goods in front of Jakes Grocery Store in Reserve. [Blogmaster note: Another collection point is Eagle Guest Ranch in Datil NM; goods collected will be delivered to Reserve 4H]
"Dog/cat food, canned meats, cereals and paper products would be very appreciated," stated Jolene Delgado.
"The National Guard has assisted the kids in collections," said Alisa Estrada.
Delgado, Estrada, Amanda Landrum, and Kate Fletcher are the leaders of about twenty youths in this project.
"All collected goods are for the evacuees and the donated items are stored at the Cross V Ranch in Cruzville.
