- I understand fire lines are being constructed on our side of the border.
- Reserve and surrounding area have been on a 2MW generator (a 16 cylinder Caterpillar engine) since Sat.(6-4). We have had rolling blackouts, maybe one every other day...40 min. long.
- Food supplies are adequate. Suppliers are getting through. Gas/diesel supplies are OK for now. Diesel supplies are coming in almost every other day.
- Water source has a backup generator....we will not run out of water.
- Firefighters are more than supplied with food...I have seen/been to their temporary kitchen, and they eat better than me. National Guard has access to gas resources if necessary.
- Reserve is full of visitors. Resources are stretched, but not broken. Extra telephone lines have been laid, satellite systems up and running, and so far the community is calm.
