- Greer and Sunrise have been evacuated.
- Hwy. 260 may be at any point closed to all but evacuees and fire personnel, so check before counting on using it.
- Luna is still at pre-evacuation status, but people should be prepared to leave and voluntary evacuation has been requested.
- It is not known whether the fire has crossed the state line into New Mexico.
"This is still a very active fire, we continue to see spot fires. The terrain is rough and rugged and there is wind. Conditions are ripe for continued growth, but we have over 2500 personnel assigned to the fire plus air coverage, and we have day and evening shifts."
