The three maps below show the fire in three different formats. One is a mosaic of the IR and Thermal imaging, one is the IR map as a perimeter only and the other is an IR map with perimeter and the hot spots. Due to the logistical lag-time at the Incident Command Centers, the people printing the hand-outs and the people doing the websites etc., the data available elsewhere for the better part of the day will be old, as noted in the previous post. The maps above are the most current data, obtained at 06/07/11 at 0138 Hrs. (AZ). Incident Command Center (ICC) has been notified and agrees that this approach would be much more accurate than their system with the lag-time.
Mapwork being performed and provided by Doyel Shamley, Apache County Liason for Senator Sylvia Allen. Many thanks to Sen. Allen.
