Significant Events: Crews made good progress today, with the lighter winds crews were able to safety access areas of the fire they have not been able to access due to high winds and large snag patches. SoCal Team One is beginning the planning necessary to transition with Dugger Hughes's IMT on Thursday. The Zone One ICP will also be relocated to Horseshoe-Cienega.
Remarks: Incident will continue with the demobilization of excess resources that are timing out as well as supporting other incidents within the region. Lighter winds and cooler temperature allowed firefighters to make good progress with mop-up operations.
Observed Fire Behavior: Fire smouldered in ground fuels with isolated single tree torching no sustained fire runs were observed during the burn period.
Planned Actions: Crews will continue to mop up and securing firelines while continuing to provide for point source protection as needed. Additionally fire crews will work to remove hazard trees along the fires edge, communities, roads and infrastructure. Rehab planning and work will continue.
