Today we've gotten wonderful news: Almost all of the evacuated communities have received notice they may return to their homes, and the Wallow Fire is now at 10% containment. Everyone most fervently wishes this nightmare of a fire to be over and with good weather and winds, hopefully that will be the case in the near future.
Updates to this blog will occur on a twice daily basis from now until there appears to be no need, unless there is some major news about the fire. Thank you for all the kind comments you've been sending - it's good to know this voluntary service provided to you by myself and the reporters of Glenwood Gazette has filled a need.
