RESERVE, NM. Command Pilot Major Purcell, of the National Guard Attachment staged at the Reserve Airport, gave a Hoist Demonstration with their 449 HC BlackHawk. The demonstration was to display their ability to evacuate personnel as needed. This is their first deployment this fire season. The BlackHawk is capable of evacuating two stretcher injuries or up to eleven transports.
