Catwalk Fundraiser Nov 23

Catwalk Fundraiser Dinner/Dance
Saturday, November 23, 3-7 PM
Uncle Bill's Bar, Reserve NM

Hello my name is Leisil Luera and we are putting on a benefit dinner and dance in Reserve, NM at Uncle Bills Bar for the Catwalk that was damaged in the flood in September. The Catwalk in Glenwood is a very historic site in our rural county in NM. This attraction brings 20,000 to 30,000 people a year to our small county. The Catwalk is a very beneficial asset and brings much needed revenue to all of our local businesses. It is also a place that so many love to visit throughout the whole year. It is in terrible shape since the flood, so we are hoping to help reopen this wonderful site.

The benefit, at Uncle Bill's Bar, will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 23. The minimum to attend the benefit is $10, this includes dinner as well as the dance, if anyone would like to donate more they are welcome to. If you cannot make it and would like to donate please send donations to Uncle Bill's Bar 230 N Main, Reserve, NM 87830. ID is required to enter the benefit.

If anyone has questions call Uncle Bill's Bar at 575 533 6369 or 575 5381582

Steve Pearce to have wolf video crew at Bucky's Birthday Bash

Congressman Pearce is going to attend Buckys Birthday Bash at the Glenwood Community Park, Glenwood, NM 6:00 p.m. on June 15, 2013  He is very concerned about the livestock destruction and emotional toll that the reintroduction of the Mexican Wolf is having on the residents of Catron and Grant counties. Mr. Pearce would like to get your help in documenting your stories of wolf encounters, and the damage they have been doing to your lives. We also want to place emphasis on the threat to human safety.

The congressman will have a video crew in Glenwood on June 15 starting at 9:00 am. The filming location will be the Blue Front Café. Even the sign on the door will say closed, Bucky will have the building open that day for filming.

If you have pictures or other digital comments you want to share we will have a laptop there that we can load these files on.

Once this information is compiled, it will be uploaded to his website.

With your help, we can continue to rebut misinformation put out to the public.

Please try to schedule time to come and help us with this project and also plan on attending Buckys Birthday Bash. I am sure that you are well aware that it is a fundraiser to fight the forest service travel management plan closures.

If you will plan on contributing your experiences, please email me so we can try to set up some sort of schedule. The video crew will be there all day.

If you have any questions please email me or call the numbers below.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Fred Huff
